I love to work in advertising. I think it’s a real privilege to make a living by thinking of ideas and bringing them to life in compelling new ways. I truly believe that every brand has a story, and if the right people tell that story, it can be entertaining, captivating, and enlightening.
I’m an art-based Creative Director (who loves to write) with 15+ years of experience in creating effective advertising campaigns in print, TV, OOH, and digital for major, world-renowned brands like Johnson & Johnson, Nike-Foot Locker, National Geographic Channel, AMC Network, Comedy Central, Nestlé, United Nations, Pfizer, and Amgen, among others. In my career, I’m most proud of helping to turn a new, relatively unknown allergy brand that was heavily outspent by competitors into a major player in the category within six years.
To me, being a successful Creative Director requires several key traits. First and foremost, you must be an innovative thinker, always ready to come up with new ways of solving your clients’ problems. Hard work is essential; you never stop until you’ve cracked the idea. Being a people person helps keep clients and coworkers on your side, making them want to have you on their team. Effective communication is crucial, as you must be able to present ideas with passion and defend them with logic.
Additionally, a successful CD must be a leader, motivator, and mentor to young creative teams, as well as a collaborator who checks their ego at the door and is happy to work with people in other departments. Lastly, maintaining calm, composure, responsiveness, and a positive attitude under pressure is vital.

As part of the pitch team at FCB | NY, I contributed to several pitches and successfully delivered the winning concept that secured Pfizer's account for the launch of their breakthrough alopecia treatment.
